This is an original charcoal sketch done in the style that Ray Harryhausen used for his production illustrations. It is not a copy of any drawing of his.  When working on my Masters Degree, I chose Ray for my focus. Part of the assignments was to do some illustrations in Ray's style. I only had a few weeks and finished four different scenes. I did my best to boil down Ray's technique, and he gave me some pointers. Ray felt they were pretty faithful. It is approximately 12" by 18", which is the size Ray used.
