Chris Conway plans to celebrate his birthday weekend at his uncle’s cabin.  His celebration takes  a strange turn from the moment he arrives. His uncle, who works on top-secret experimental projects at the mysterious GSI Corporation, is nowhere to be found. In the middle of the night, he awakens to strange noises downstairs…three genetically modified bat-creatures, and a fight ensues.
 
Later, Chris discovers his uncle’s secret notebook... revealing his work with the bat-creatures.
 
He finally encounters one of the bat-creatures in the woods, and makes friends with it...calling it “NightFind”. Together they infiltrate the secret facility where his mom is held captive and rescue her.
