This is my homage to Ray Harryhausen, inspiration and friend. When I showed the original clay sculpt to him, he seemed pelased and said it was very dynamic. I had always wished Ray had done Triton in stop-motion, but very understandable why he chose a live actor. Ray often made maquette studies of his creatures, so this study was an attempt to match his wonderful production illustration, and visualize what it might have been as a model.
